"You are not the Alankrita we know from the years!", all of her friends sounded in unison.
"You are not the Alankrita we know from the years!", all of her friends sounded in unison.
Alankrita falls
asleep as she was tired of crying!
"Hello!
How are you doing?", a text pops up on the screen of Alankrita's mobile.
Its very common
to snooze an alarm in the morning, but a tone of notification can make you
awake , so, respect the early morning texts you receive! 😉
Alankrita do fits to this stereotypical notification fever! She woke up and startled to
see a text from an unkown number.
She searched in
the directory but could not find any clues! Out of the curiosity, she replied,
"Hello! I am fine! Who is this?", expecting that this would be
Aryan, trying to play with her!
She fell asleep
again dreaming of him! As she woke up during breakfast time, she got a reply,
"I am the one who guided you to bring the food to the donors during the
blood donation camp in the university! Did you forget me?"
"No! I
remember you! But I did not hear from you from that moment!", she texted
back.
"I was
busy getting around the things to build my hospital!", he texted!
"Oh! Are
you a doctor?"
"Yes, Of
course! I visited your university during blood donation camp!"
"Oh cool! "
"Would you
like to have a cup of coffee in the evening?"
"Yes,
sure!" she texts back.
They both had
met in a coffee cafe! Alankrita felt refreshed after sharing some refreshing
time right after the hot discussion last night! But, Alankrita feels something
fishy during the meeting! She inferred that the guy is trying to move in close
calls of her! He is trying to impress her in all motives! Alankrita does not
want to get more troubles into her life!
The guy texted
Alankrita for a week and they both shared a normal chat. On a weekend, the guy
asked Alankrita to come out for a movie with him! Alankrita thought that, this
is going to lead to a place, where she doesn't want to land!
As expected,
the guy proposed Alankrita with beautiful roses near her hostel! Her friends
saw this scene from a distance and hoped that their friend would accept the
proposal.
But to their
shock, Alankrita in a matured way denies the proposal explaining him, why she cannot
love him back. She explains him that, she respects him a lot for all the things
he had done to her. She explains about her commitments and her ideology of life
and love! After listening to her, the guy admired her a lot for the way she
cared to explain the things to him.
Although, it's
impossible to forget someone we love, the guy says that he admires her for she
being she and leaves the place with moisture in his eyes!
We love our
parents and siblings and they love and care for us, because, we are a part of a
family and it has some responsibilities and connections! We care and share with
our friends, because, friends are also a vital part of our life!
If a third person
(although a friend before) loves us and admires us, its a great honor to us
for being in such great spirits in his/her mind. Why does that third person, mind to take some of his/her precious time to think of us?! It's a great
privilege of being loved by someone! We have to show our reverence to it,
at least by caring to explain to him/her, the reasons for less chances of
possibilities of sharing our life with him/her. This is not the same as
convincing him/her! The point is to respect the feelings!
Alankrita behaved with the similar ideology towards the guy who proposed
her!
"I saw
some beautiful red roses today! ", Aayushi winked at Alankrita.
"What? Why
are you randomly talking about res roses now?", Alankrita said in a state
of confusion.
"I am not
talking anything with uncertainty, my filter had some observations of red roses
today!", Aayushi replied with a love gesture with her hands.
"Stop it!
I understood that you saw it! And I hope that you saw it till the end"
"Yes, but,
why Alankrita, why are you doing like this?! Come out of Aryan, be
practical!", Aayushi confronted.
"We
already had a talk about this in the past and I stand by the same even
now!", Alankrita said with a firm voice!
After few
months, Alankrita has decided to write a letter to Aryan. Although its
conventional to write a letter of life, she believed that its the best way
to express oneself.
She tries to
pen down her feelings with all senses.
Alankrita
writes ...
Dear Me,
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
As you know the fact that I am
totally inspired from the 'book of humans', The Bhagavd Gita, so I
start this letter with the 'shloka' I esteem, admire and gets inspiration from.
I believe that you definitely know the meaning of the above 'shloka', I shall
talk about it later.
Firstly, I request you to read this letter as if I am holding your arms and gazing into your sharp eyes and uttering each (and each) and each of every word of it with you! I wish doing this! Otherwise it's a just of piece of paper with some words scribbled on it. May be its an old tradition to express, I choose this medium to express because I respect it.
I believe that life is full
of new experiences with people. Some may be good and other bad. We learn
from bad experiences and we cherish our good experiences for life time and even
for the future life. On a fine day, I had a beautiful and wonderful
experience to meet you in person and talk to you.
We both had shared some pleasant time each other on chats and calls. Though we met rarely, I share a strong bond with your soul. I believe I met you for a reason. Otherwise, I would have missed a chance of meeting a beautiful and wonderful guy like you! You are the most beautiful thing that happened to me in my life. I cherish it every day of my life.
The best part of you is, you were
there with me in my difficult times. When we are feeling low, a person who
stands by our side (though they does not help to reach our goal) and talks to
us, is most significant and you did that job to me! I never thanked you for
that, now I take some space to thank you from the bottom of my heart for
that!
More than anything, I like your attitude. The way you used to talk to me on the call, I cherished each and every word. The way you scold me, the way you fooled me some times, the way you take care of me by your texts, each and every thing! I admire those sharp eyes, your eternal smile and love, and the symphony in your voice. I want to see you smile with eyes full of glory ever ever ever!
To explain, what I like in you is
very difficult task, because it tends to infinity and explaining infinity
is one of the foolish things to do! I like and admire each and everything
in you! I believe it's not just a sentence to say, but the fact of my soul. I
can't say the reasons for the soul connection.
After I proposed, you stopped
talking to me! This was more hurting to me than the way you turned down the
proposal. Because I did not expect this!
May be time elapsed much, but I am the same what I was the first day. I did not move an inch and I would not, because you are my soul and I do not want to move away from my soul, and if I do so, there is no 'me'.
It would be an overstatement to you, if I say that I think of you every day. but as of me, I do think of you every day. I pray to God for your health and prosperity every day during my prayers.
Aryan, you mean a lot to me! You are
very special to me. I like to spend each and every moment with you sharing the
joy, laughter, pain and the troubles.
I love you to the moon and back. not only to the moon and back but also to the infinite light years into the universe and back! I love you!
Now, I wanted to speak about the 'shloka' I started off with. As a avid follower of Gita, I stand by that 'shloka'. It says, we have right to our duty (or action) and not the results of it. Let the fruit of action not alone be the motive for acting and let there not be any attachment for inaction. There is a thin line between expectation and hope. One who understands this, can live thy life happily. I don't expect anything in return but I hope that the things happen! I am very sincere and genuine in my love for you! There may be deviations to me in terms of proposals from other sides, I stand still for my love until now and forever! I hope that you understand my feelings and emotions which are very genuine of its kind towards you! I love you then, now and forever!
My emotions are rising as I write this, I am falling short of breath and words, my hands are shaking to write. My heart is beating faster and faster... I suppose most of us are lonely in this big world but we must tremendously fall in love to find it out! You are my life - my very life. I express my immortal, my eternal love for you! I shall live and cherish in your happiness my love.
I don’t know how to tell you just
how much I miss you. I love you till my heart could burst. All I love, all I
want, all I need is you – forever. I want to just be where you are and be just
what you want me to be. How much I write, no written words can adequately
express my deep, deep and deep love!
I love you unconditionally, my life,
my heart and my soul!
After you read this, there might be
two choices for you. One, to throw this letter in the trash. Two, to give
a thought about the emotions! One cannot force the choices. So I leave it to
you, my life!
Yours Lovingly
From 'You!'
P.S: There is no mistake in the
salutations, because I feel that this letter which I am writing to you is to
me. Because, for me we are one soul!
Alankrita ends the letter carrying
lot of emotions within her! She decorates the letter with nice girly designs
and keeps on her table with an envelope to post it to Aryan.
Alankrita's supervisor calls her for
an urgent meeting regarding the social service team. She leaves the room!
Aayushi observes Alankrita every
night, as she sits in the dark with a table lamp and writes something! Aayushi
was worried for about a fortnight to know, what was happening with Alankrita.
She feared if Alankrita would take strange decisions of her life! The
thunderstorm with heavy winds, which disturbed the weather in the city, were in
parallel with the thunderstorms in the mind of Aayushi about her friend
Alankrita.
As the wind blows from the window
the papers written by Alankrita falls all over the ground. Aayushi gathers all
the papers and as a matter of curiosity, she starts to read few lines. As
the curiosity rises up in her, she reads the complete script and falls
down in her bed!
Aayushi thinks in herself about
Alankrita, "This girl is something special. She is very genuine and
ethical with herself. But how can she understand that being ethical does not
always work. We believe in the words, ' Dharmo Rakshathi Rakshitah!' ( which mean
dharma protect those who upholds or protects dharma). Even if we are being in a
manner of our 'dharm', we hope that the same 'dharm' returns us, but, the
matter of fact is that, the 'dharm' required for the 'lok kalyan' (public welfare) is
only served at last"
Aayushi says to herself, "Hope
and desire kills Intelligence!"
